Women's Wellness Weekend Retreat
Get away to scenic Bayfield, WI and the majestic Lake Superior for an enriching personal growth retreat.
The Retreat will be held at the Wild Rice Retreat
Dates: Friday, Sept. 21 - Sunday, Sept. 23
Register early. Space is limited to 15 registrants and rooms can only be held until Aug. 22
Rooms will be assigned on a first come first serve basis.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Refund in full if cancelled by August 31st. Refund of full amount paid less $50 service fee if cancelled by September 7th. No refunds after September 14th.
Lodging Note: Nearly all lodging options require the sharing of space. A few of the cottages can accommodate one adult or two adults sharing one bed. Other room accommodations require one guest to occupy a sofa bed and will be assigned at the discretion of Wild Rice Retreat and NurseLife.
Please join me for my NurseLife Wellness Retreat experience. Women from all walks of life, various ages, and diverse life experiences will gather to nurse our lives toward greater wellbeing in spirit, mind, and body. This weekend holds space for possibility... that we can each nurse our life toward being grounded in good self-care, growing a positive mind, and gifted with resources to support our wellbeing. Join me if you want:
- to learn self-care practices that refresh, restore, and heal
- to learn strategies to grow a positive mind and positive relationships
- to restore work/life balance
- to begin a yoga or meditation practice
We gather to support and nurture one another in the temple of the woods that surround us and within our own sacred bodies to transform ourselves in body, mind, and spirit. Retreat will include
- NurseLife Resilience Training curriculum including HeartMath technology
- Lake Superior Rock necklace making experience - led by local artist, Lissa Flemming, of Silverwaves Jewelry.
- $595 includes lodging for 2 nights, some meals, jewelry making supplies, NurseLife Resilience Training/Group Wellness Coaching, introduction to HeartMath technology, Gentle Yoga sessions, Meditation, time for personal reflection and some free time to explore the Bayfield area.
- Commuter Fee: $400 commuters will dine with the group

NOURISHING MEALS & SNACKS- Wild Rice Retreat Kitchen Manager / Resident Cook Lars Dukowitz is a highly skilled and renowned chef, sharing his talents with Wild Rice Retreat guests through the preparation of retreat meals in the onsite world-class kitchen. Lars focuses on using locally-sourced and fresh ingredients whenever possible, finding inspiration for both flavor pairings and beautifully plated dishes from nature and the beauty of Lake Superior. Special dietary restrictions can be accommodated (such as gluten-free, dairy-free, vegetarian, food-allergies, etc.) with advance notice. 11:30 - 12:00pm Brownstone Trail Hike - Mindfulness Exercise
